Hilpoltstein und Rothsee - Day Trip from Nuremberg

Rothsee season is nearing, and Hilpoltstein is near it. So we went there to see what they offer. Nice lake, and good beer and good food at the Brauereigasthof zum Schwarzen Ross.

 

Pflugsmühle, Abenberg, Spalt - Day Trip from Nuremberg

We went to the Pflugsmühle, its a nice beergarden near Spalt. We love this place...

Its a nice place to start and end your hike but we only did manage to hike to the minigolf, which they have. In fact, they not only have a mini golf. They have a almost real golf, buggy racer, cows, chickens, horses, unknown bird animals, and even a kangaroo!

Just 5min from the Pflugsmühle is the Gasthof Blumenthal, its more like a Restaurant.
After that we went to the Castle in Abenberg:

On the way there we passed the very crowded Icebar in Spalt
There seems to be the feuertanz festival at this, and other castles.

At the end we wanted to visit the Spalter Brewery, but there was nothing to see :(
So we went back to the Pflugsmühle and dranke there, and then we ate some more.
